- The cashier selects the "Gift Card" tender option in the POS system.
- The cashier enters or scans the Gift Card number and PIN in the POS system to upload or redeem the card.
- The required value is added to the Gift Card and the payment is completed. During redemption, the system validates the balance and deducts the used amount.
- If the bill value is greater than the Gift Card value, the customer pays the remaining balance using cash, card, or UPI.
- If any balance remains, it stays on the same Gift Card and can be used for future purchases.
- The invoice will mention the Gift Card sale or redemption.
